A full preventative maintenance regime on the engines hardware including: Cam belt, water pump, all pulleys and tensioners, alternator, 2x aux belts, brand new coolant header tank, brand new genuine Bosch MAF sensor, new genuine peirsburg boost solenoid valve, liqui-moly engine flush, new oil and filter, gen v5 Volvo oil filter housing, custom wibech v4 intake kit, airtech inlet plenum, new inlet manifold gasket, full big bore Airtech 2.5″ poost pipework and large mouth stage 4 Airtech intercooler (RS stage 2), RS spark plugs, 440cc RS injectors, forge turbo actuator, Mountune recirculating valve, 3″ turbo downpipe, 3″ Gravity silenced de cat, KMS section 18 middle section Miltek Ultimate rear Y section and 5″ KMS slash cut tips (sounds absolutely superb!!, brand new 2nd 02 sensor, brand new J hook discs all round with EBC fast road pads, new drive shafts both sides, brand new upgraded Helix Autosport Organic RS clutch kit with Lightened single mass flywheel (good for 650bhp and 620Nm), brand new RS slave cylinder, new 75w gearbox oil and seals, brand new Polybush uprated 3x engine mounts all round, brand new thermostat and I’m sure there’s more which will be listed in the hardback folder supplied. With 550cc injectors and Sabre 400 hybrid turbo this is ready for 410bhp. Sabre quoted £2200

Once I completed all this work I then took a trip to the renowned West Yorkshire Tuning (the UK ST/T5 software Guru) for a complete health check and data log carried out which resulted in remarks from Barin (the Guru) “this is one the most healthiest T5 engines l’ve had here in the 13 years I’ve operated, it’s a credit to your work The data logs are all absolutely spot on”. And as such the results speak for themselves after he remapped the engine and totally custom tailored it to the hardware id installed, she produced a very healthy 337bhp and 520Nm (400ft/lb) which is remarkable for these engines of this age now and on a standard nealthy stock turbo with 136k miles she’s covered. The beauty of this custom tune is that it’s totally tailored to your car there and then and not an off the shelf generic tune.

Cosmetically i’ve machine polished the entire car and ceramic coated it too. She comes up absolutely stunning in its glossy Pantha Black pearl paint work. I’ve also added a nice real carbon fibre bonnet lip which is a nice subtle touch. It’s not a showroom car so please expect age related marks for age and mileage. It sits perfect on the BC coilovers and the 18″ 9.5j Rota Grid alloys, RallyFlapz all round and the fantastic TRC low line kit to give it that lovely hunkered down stance and man it holds the road well. All 4 tyres are brand new 2 weeks agc with Michellin Pilot sport 5s up front. Brand new upper and lower Zunsport grills finish the front end off perfectly with a nice complimentary spoiler lip to the rear, To finish off the interior it has a touch screen android head unit, I have installed the Orange Recaro seats in the front (personally I love) with ST3 leather in the rear (practicality reasons with 4x kids!!) and a lovely 330mm Sparco Alcantara steering wheel to complete the driving experience.

The car needs nothing for the next owner. I’d like it to go to a fellow enthusiast that will look after it, as do l.

 Major engine service carried out in July which consisted of 2 engine flushes then finished off with 0w/40 oil.
