Ford Focus RS MK2

Description

Ford Focus RS 2009
Mountune Clubsport & MR375 upgrades.
For sale is my much loved RS which I have owned for over 3 yrs. I usually keep a car for only a year or so but it has been a real pleasure and easy to own this car for a lot longer. I’m only selling as I’ve gone as far as I want to go sensibly and sympathetically modifying it,now it’s time for someone else to enjoy it like I have. The spec is as follows;
Lux2

19” OZ Racing Leggera wrapped in Michelin PS4 tyres.
Real carbon wing, B pillar trims,Ford badges,wing mirror covers,bonnet lip,sill plates,seat plates. Steering wheel inserts,gear knob,bonnet vents.
550 injectors.MSRT mud flaps. Heated front seats. AP Organic clutch and lightened flywheel. Pandora Pro alarm and immobiliser. Milltek Ultimate 3” turbo back exhaust(sounds great). Group A Cosworth induction kit. Lowered on H&R springs. Scan gauge. Pumabuild 400 map.
I have always used the best fuel,warmed up and cooled down as you should. I have addressed the clocks problem on the circuit board as the joints were dry and needed re soldering(common issue),still under warranty. The underside has been treated also(it wasn’t that bad but prevention is better than cure,pics included)so it won’t need treating until next year or so and I will include the remaining product to do it.
It does not look or drive like a 97k mile car,it is a beauty,a testament to its previous owners and of course me. The intention when I first purchased was to go full Mountune MR 375. All the hardware is there ready for it,all it needs is the mtune handset(£160 ish). I left the Pumabuild map on it because it is perfect for me,pulls lovely and compliments the whole package. So why ruin a perfectly good useable map(Pumabuild are known for good mapping) I have a folder full of invoices from the previous owner and have continued to keep all receipts for the the bits I have bought also(it is thousands). I’ve always used seat covers from when I bought it and will include them with the sale.
Bad bits:
The carbon wing has lacquer peel and I really wish I’d of kept the black gloss one. It’s on the roof part,not massively noticeable but it will need addressing. The rear parking sensors stopped working recently but the camera is ok so I wasn’t too fussed about it. Sometimes the clutch makes a noise,not really noticeable but I was told by a reputable tech when I first got it that it was because it’s a competition clutch and they do that. It’s been like that for over 3 yrs and I’ve had no issues with it, pedal is quite heavy though.
I’ve probably missed a few things but if you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Only I will drive it on test drives and I don’t want groups of people turning up either please.
