Chassis, suspension and steering The car is fitted with a Wisefab E46 front drift steering/suspension system, providing substantially increased steering angle and drift-specific geometry control, together with MTS Technik adjustable coilovers. The conversion also included rear suspension/body reinforcement and welding, SWAGIER reinforcement components, suspension adaptation and professional 3D geometry/alignment. A front strut brace is fitted, and the rear wheels use the documented spacer/stud arrangement to position them beneath the widened rear bodywork. Drivetrain The original BMW six-speed manual transmission is retained. Drift-related drivetrain work includes: Separate welded rear differential LuK clutch specified for BMW 335i E90 Sachs dual-mass flywheel specified for BMW 330i E46 Replacement release/thrust bearing Gearbox removal/refitting during clutch work Clutch hydraulic-system work The differential was separately acquired specifically for the drift conversion; no ratio is claimed. Engine and exhaust The car retains its original naturally aspirated 2,979 cc BMW six-cylinder petrol engine. Michał Wojtan professionally programmed/remapped the ECU for increased power and modified the exhaust system, including work around the manifolds/collectors, flanges and pipework. There is no dyno sheet in the documentation, so no unsupported bhp figure is being claimed. Brakes and drift handbrake A separate long-handled Turbo W drift handbrake was professionally installed with associated hydraulic lines/connectors, while the conventional BMW parking handbrake was retained. The braking system also received substantial maintenance and later specialist work, including discs, pads, parking-brake components and associated parts. Interior The interior retains considerably more of the original E46 than a conventional stripped drift car. Specification includes: Sparco racing seats and BMW-specific mounts/rails OMP four-point harnesses MOMO Model 08 steering wheel and hub Original front three-point BMW seat belts retained Rear seat belts retained Rear seats, carpets and substantial original interior trim retained Electric/memory seat adjustment retained The result is a recognisably complete E46 cabin with a dedicated drift driving environment rather than a bare competition shell. Body and exterior The car was originally dark green and was completely refinished in BMW Long Beach Blue as part of the conversion (side by side photograph with owners M2 to show colour match) Exterior work includes: Mikinka Projekt Pandem-look body kit Widening/modification of the underlying rear metal bodywork Wide front and rear arch extensions Original steel BMW bonnet retained and modified with four vent/louvre sections Large front splitter Black kidney grilles Replacement front headlamp assemblies CSL-style boot spoiler Twin exhaust outlets The Pandem-look styling was deliberately chosen as a visual reference to the Japanese origins of drifting rather than simply as a cosmetic body-kit choice. Wheels Currently fitted with four 17-inch BMW five-spoke alloy wheels. The conversion documentation records the rear spacer/stud installation associated with the widened rear bodywork.
